Keep your Carat Cake piece shining forever
Each Carat Cake jewel is crafted with love - and like all precious things, it deserves a little TLC. Here’s how to keep your sparkle flawless for years to come.
Daily Do's & Don'ts
DO:
- Gently wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing
- Store in your Carat Cake pouch or box to prevent scratching
- Remove before applying perfume, lotions, or sprays
- Keep away from harsh household cleaners
DON'T:
- Shower, swim, or sweat excessively in your jewellery
- Toss pieces into your handbag loose (they hate it in there)
- Use ultrasonic cleaners unless advised - some stones and settings are delicate
Cleaning Tips
For diamonds & gold:
Soak briefly in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap. Use a soft toothbrush to gently clean, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
For blackened or antique finishes:
Avoid scrubbing - a gentle wipe is best to preserve the unique look.
Repairs & Warranty
All Carat Cake pieces are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults and eligible for lifetime repairs.
